Dagwood suspected as a bank robber 6-13-1944

You’d think this would be a different situation from how it turns out. It starts with Dagwood already being held by the police. He calls Blondie for help. He didn’t rob the bank and that storyline gets dropped. They titled this for a bank robbery and the story is forgotten after the first five minutes, The show becomes about Dagwood having dreams that are coming true.

Ok the part where they try to put Dagwood to sleep was funny. Not much else.

There is only 20 something minutes so all the much more interesting story ideas like Dithers using Dagwood dreams to make himself rich get tossed. It becomes about a vacation. That was a big nothingburger.

This is the last episode I could find on this classic radio show podcast. I got the general idea of what the shows were like.
