Dagwood Bumstead loses Dither's 500 dollars

The show is more Dagwood’s show. Arthur Lake is still at the role. There is new actress playing Blondie, Ann Rutherford.

The title says it all. He can’t remember what he did with the money and hopes Dithers doesn’t bring it up. He does. A little yelling. Mild jokes and happy ending.

Radio is past its big time and they got second rate here. The jokes are mild, Penny Singleton is gone. No offense to Anne Rutherford, she wasn’t blond. It was radio so OK.

After all these years, this show which was slight and ok was coasting at this point. It went from middling to bottom.
