Goodreads Upgrades and Changes

I understand that websites change to keep things fresh and entice new customers. If you’re someone who uses a site or company for a long while, the format becomes reliable. I know where things are. I know how many times to tab between links. I know where to find what I want.

Goodreads made updates. There are these new challenges that I don’t follow or don’t want to accept. I don’t know ahead of time which books fit the challenge. I have to search for answers but I won’t. I used to see how many books I was on to meet the yearly challenge. On mobile devices, it’s not as easy to see.

My yearly challenge for the past three years has been 95 books. I’ve met the challenge every year. I read what I want. I don’t follow the Goodreads recommends often. Shorter books fit in with my schedule better.

I think I’m meeting the yearly challenge or so I think. They changed the format.
