Finding time to write - I hear the same advice and yeah I know

go to the book conferences and see these authors with a table full of books. I see writers crank a new book every few months. I take years between titles.

I listened to  “Fiction Writing” with Vanessa Gilbo podcast and she had advice on finding time. “The Sell More Books Show” had advise on finding time. “Helping Writers Become Authors” had advice.

It comes down to find time in those small pockets of the day. Set aside time.   Stick to the schedule.

If this is your full time job, you can schedule your day. You can say to family members that you are working. Many of us, have to get motivated and find time. We have to forgo something else.

Joanna Penn on the “Creative Penn” podcast says find time when it’s fun for you. Don’t force the time. I like her advice.
